Sorry this email is so late. Sister Burrows and I were at the hospital for a lot longer than expected, so we just got back from Taizhong and I want to give you all an update. First, Sister Burrows will be having surgery on Wednesday,. We'll go to the hospital that morning, and stay till Thursday. However, I got the call that I'll be training again next movecall and will get my new missionary on Friday. This week will be crazy! Tomorrow is Sister Burrows' last day in Fengyuan, so we're meeting with a ton of people so she can say goodbye and bear her testimony one last time with them. After her surgery, she'll be with the Tanzi sisters (same apartment, different area) but then come with us again when we skype on Saturday morning for Mother's Day, then go back to Tanzi. Time has been flying by so fast lately, and I can't believe I only have 4 movecalls left before I go home... I don't even want to think about it! This week will be lots of goodbye's and then getting things ready for my new missionary. You'll find out who she is on Monday! I'll send pictures of course :)
I'm sorry I really don't have much time at all, so this will be short. Last week was really rough health wise for our companionship, but hopefully that will all be better after her surgery. We weren't able to go out a ton, but were still able to get things ready for this wednesday night's Harry Potter party for english! I'm kinda worried about the elders being in charge of it now since I won't be tehre... but I'm sure it will be fine haha. We were also able to meet some new friends. The one I want to tell you abotu is Monica! We met her on the road last week and sat down with her for a while. Turns out, she is a designer and has been on Taiwan's version of Project Runway hahaha! She is so cool, came in with her platform sneakers, lip pants, bright shirt and red hair. She saw our nametag and asked if we really were Jesus Christ's church. We happily told her that we were, and were able to share with her more about how much Christ has influenced our lives and how He can continue to guide hers. I'm glad that the area has grown so much in the last few weeks for when my new missionary comes. We'll help her see the hand of God in this work, and get her super excited for the best 18 months haha.
I love you all so much. Is Rachelle's baby coming soon?? How is the family doing? Tell everyone Hello and I love them so much!!!!!!!
